Why Cruise?

Cruises are a popular travel option right now. Cruising can be done all year round.  Whether you want to travel with a group of friends, extended family, or go on an adult-only couples vacation planning a cruise is a great way to travel.

  • You can wake up in a different country each day of your trip. You can’t do that on a usual road trip.
  • You can unpack one time! Who wants to unpack and repack every single night just to lug around a suitcase?
  • You can have personalized service no matter which price you pay.  The people on deck 3 in an interior room receive the same service as the people on deck 14 in an ocean-view room.

Space and Comfort

One of the standout features of Room 14229 is the generous amount of space. Whether you’re traveling solo or with a partner, you’ll find plenty of room to relax and unwind. The cabin’s layout is thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort, ensuring you have all the amenities you need for a luxurious stay.

Central Park Balcony View

View of Central Park onboard Allure of the Seas from room 14229

The Central Park Balcony View is truly a highlight of this cabin. Imagine stepping out onto your private balcony and being greeted by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of nature. It’s a serene escape that allows you to enjoy the beauty of the ship’s Central Park area without leaving your room. This unique feature sets Room 14229 apart from other cabins, offering a slice of tranquility amidst the bustling activities onboard.

Our favorite part included the extended balcony. For the same price of a regular Central Park Balcony room we had much more room with two full-size lounge chairs in addition to the regular two chairs and table.

Convenient Location

Pool Deck on Allure of the Seas

Location is everything when it comes to enjoying your cruise, and Room 14229 does not disappoint. Situated close to the pool deck, it’s perfect for those who love to take a dip or soak up the sun. The proximity to the Windjammer Cafe is another major plus, making it easy to grab a quick bite or enjoy a leisurely meal without venturing far from your cabin.

Challenges

While there’s a lot to love about Room 14229, there are a couple of drawbacks worth mentioning. Being on a higher deck can be a bit daunting if you have a fear of heights, as I do. The view from the balcony, while beautiful, can be a bit overwhelming if you’re uncomfortable with heights.

Additionally, the cabin’s distance from the main promenade on Deck 5 and the Boardwalk on Deck 6 might be a consideration for those who prefer to be closer to the ship’s central activities. While the walk is manageable, it’s something to keep in mind if you enjoy frequenting these popular areas.

Final Thoughts

Overall, Room 14229 on the Allure of the Seas offers a spacious and comfortable retreat with a beautiful Central Park Balcony View. Its convenient location near the pool deck and Windjammer Cafe makes it a great choice for those looking to make the most of their cruise experience. However, if heights are a concern or you prefer being closer to the main promenade and Boardwalk, you might want to consider other options.
