EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts 2023
EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts 2023 is currently in full swing. The festival runs from January 13- February 20 this year, so it’s not too late to go down and take part. The festival celebrates the creation of art and cuisine.
There are many ways to immerse yourself into the festival. This includes special art, merchandise, colorful food, activities, and entertainment.

Special Art
The festival art can be seen throughout the park, and even some of the artists are there to sign their works so you can bring home a one-of-a-kind piece of the festival.
You can also be one with the art by placing yourself inside popular paintings.
Festival Merchandise
During your trip you can shop for exclusive festival merchandise. Bring home a piece of art, chalkboard paint mug, collectible pin, or even a cool spirit jersey. Some of the food booth items even come in a take home souvenir glass.
Don’t forget the Figment Popcorn Bucket! You can now mobile order one to pick-up in the park.
Colorful Food
One of the best things to do during EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts is the food booths. The culinary arts are represented at 20 different locations around the park and are individual works of art in presentation as well as taste.
Some of my favorites include the Rainbow Cake at The Odyssey and the “Panda” Bubble Milk Tea from the Painted Panda – China.
You can pick up your Passport book at any festival food booth around the park. Each time you purchase a specific food item, listed in the back of the book, be sure and get your book stamped. Once you get five stamps you will earn a sixth treat for free. The passport book only works for certain food items, so you may want to plan your meals around that if you want to complete the challenge.
Festival Activities
The thing that sets this festival apart from the others is that most of the activities are interactive. You can create your own work of art at the Spin Art station. The kids can create their own chalk art at the kids’ station. You can put yourself into popular paintings at different booths around the park, and can even participate in the paint by number wall mural.
Entertainment
This festival has some great performances by outstanding musical and visual artists. For the visual enthusiast there are chalk artists along the sidewalk and painters to watch. You can also take part in a character drawing session taught by one of Disney’s animation artists.
For the musical appreciator you can grab a seat, sit back, relax, and enjoy one of the Disney on Broadway Concerts. Many different musical performances also occur throughout the day around the World Showcase.
