WE ALL SCREAM FOR SNOW ICE CREAM

After a fun day of sledding in the Snowpocolypse of 2021 what is better than enjoying a nice cold bowl of snow ice cream? This is one of our favorite winter treats.  With only four easy ingredients needed it is sure to be a yummy treat that is ready to enjoy in just a few minutes.  Follow these simple steps and soon you will be enjoying snow ice cream too!

 1. Gather Snow

For this recipe we used about 8 cups of fresh white snow.  Be careful where you gather the snow from.  You don’t want dirty snow, and you especially don’t want yellow snow! Some people also say don’t use snow from the first snowfall because it might contain dirty particles from the air. We were afraid we might not get another chance so we went with it today.

2. Make Ice Cream Mixture

There are several different recipes you can you can try, but for our recipe we used:

1 c. milk

 1 c. granulated sugar

2 tsp. of amazon-adsystem.com/widgets/q?ServiceVersion=20070822&OneJS=1&Operation=GetAdHtml&MarketPlace=US&source=ac&ref=tf_til&ad_type=product_link&tracking_id=amberhopwood-20&marketplace=amazon&region=US&placement=B00L5RLCIG&asins=B00L5RLCIG&linkId=8ca6121cff51514c02dfa36856c78c8c&show_border=false&link_opens_in_new_window=false&price_color=333333&title_color=0066c0&bg_color=ffffff"> vanilla extract

Mix the milk mixture until sugar is dissolved.  The mixture will be a little thick.

3. Mix the Ice Cream

Pour the milk mixture over the snow and stir in carefully until the texture is smooth like ice cream.  Snow ice cream will have a chunkier texture than the regular kind, but it still tastes delicious.
