22 Food Trucks in 2022 – Part 4: A Taste of Japan

#6 on our list should be #6 and #7 because it was so good, we had to go there twice! Found on Center Street in Greenwood, AR Kimochi Hibachi and Sushi on Wheels serves up a taste of Japan right out of their truck.  The two things that make this truck unique are the menu items and the flavors.

Because of its’ popularity, wait times can get long at this truck, especially during the lunch rush, so come early or at an off-peak time if you can.  Portions are huge and you can easily share between two people.  If you want a variety of flavors, try a couple different things, and split them.

#6 Kimochi Hibachi and Sushi on Wheels

The Menu

The menu consists of hibachi meals and several types of sushi.  Want a little of both? Try one of their three combos.  The combos are hibachi chicken, steak, or shrimp and are served with a California roll, fried rice, and a drink.  For only $12.95 you can have the best of both worlds. 

If you have always wanted to try Sushi, but been afraid to, this is a good place to try it. The prices aren’t too bad and they have several to pick from. Not big on raw sushi? Try out a deep-fried California roll or fried shrimp tempura roll.

You might add a side item such as spring rolls, crab ragoon, pot stickers, and egg rolls to complete any meal. 

The Flavors: A Taste of Japan

The food is very flavorful and really packs a punch.  Their signature yum yum sauce is slightly different than what can be found in most sit-down hibachi style restaurants, and their rice has the perfect texture.

If you like spicy food, you will want to try the Flaming Razorback. Made with spicy fried rice, bacon, steak, chicken, and shrimp you can’t go wrong.

Final Thoughts
