22 Food Trucks in 2022 Challenge
Every year we try to do a new challenge. Last year we succeeded at completing the 21 Arkansas State Parks in 2021 Challenge. One of our favorite things to do while traveling is eating out and not cooking! This year we have been challenged, by one of our readers, to visit 22 Food Trucks in 2022. Well… Challenge accepted!
The first three food trucks we found were at the NWA Home and Outdoor Show in Rogers, AR. Local festivals and events are a great place to look for food trucks and try out unique food. While the Home and Outdoor Show was nice, we were really there for the food! And yes…it was worth it.
#1. Raised and Glazed Donuts
What’s better than starting out the day with a donut? Well… how about a donut from a food truck. Morgan loves the chocolate glazed while Daniel enjoys the maple one. Their donuts are light, airy, and made fresh in the truck.
#2. Food Therapy
In need of a little Food Therapy? Yes, please! This truck has a little of everything. This family owned food truck has a super friendly staff and the food is not too shabby either. Today I’m going with something simple since it is for a mid morning snack.
The basic grilled cheese and fries is really good. The cheese is thick and melty, and the portion size is enough for two people. We could have enjoyed a lot more on the menu if we hadn’t eaten the donuts first. Oops…
#3 Taco Virgo Soul Food Tacos
Just what is a soul food taco? Only one of the best tacos you will ever eat is what it is. The chicken is not too spicy but still has a little kick. The most unique is the collard green and fried okra, and the all-around good flavor is the beef.
The best part about this truck is the owner who cooks the food. She is so nice and makes sure your tacos are cooked with care. You will enjoy visiting with her while she cooks your food. Don’t forget to follow her Facebook page. You might just see yourself pictured.
Final Thoughts
Our new challenge for this year is the 22 Food Trucks in 2022 Challenge. The first three food trucks in our challenge are a success. The three food trucks we tried today have good food, fast service, and friendly staffs. The next time you are visiting Northwest Arkansas look up one of these trucks on Facebook and give them a try.
